Acceptance of Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Ace Your Interview service (the “Ace Your Interview service” or “service”), including the Ace Your Interview website, Ace Your Interview services, and all content. By using, visiting, or browsing the Ace Your Interview service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Ace Your Interview service.

The Ace Your Interview Service

Ace Your Interview is an educational service providing its customers assistance in the general areas of résumés, LinkedIn profiles, job interviewing, and job searches.

Ace Your Interview makes no representations regarding guaranteeing your experience while using our service. No company can guarantee that you will obtain a job by using their service.

Privacy and Communications Preferences

Any Personally Identifying Information or Client Information submitted through the Ace Your Interview service is subject to our Privacy Policy.

By using the Ace Your Interview service, you agree to receive electronic communications from Ace Your Interview. These communications will include emails about your purchase (receipt email) and information related to our service. You agree that communications sent to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing.

Billing

By purchasing any item(s) from our website, you agree that Ace Your Interview is authorized to charge the Payment Method you provide during registration. The charge for any item(s) will be billed on the day you purchase the item(s).

Cancellation & Refunds

GROUP WORKSHOPS: If you hire Victoria LoCascio to present a workshop to your group and you need to cancel your scheduled workshop, you may do so for 30 days before your scheduled workshop. If you cancel within 30 days of your workshop, your payment is non-refundable.

RÉSUMÉS & COVER LETTERS: When you purchase a résumé package or cover letter, Victoria LoCascio starts working on your project. Email Victoria if you want to cancel your order before receiving your new documents. Victoria will email you any work she has completed on your documents, and will refund your payment minus the current hourly rate ($250) for every hour of work she completed on your project (including phone calls and research). There are no refunds on résumé packages or cover letters after the new documents have been sent to a client.

COACHING: You may cancel a scheduled coaching session up to 24 hours before the session begins. Within 24 hours of the scheduled session, no refund is provided, however, you may reschedule the session. If that rescheduled session is canceled, a refund will not be provided.

Right to Terminate

Ace Your Interview reserves the right to terminate or restrict your use of the Ace Your Interview service, without notice, for any or no reason.

Social Media

You may connect with Ace Your Interview on social media websites. If you connect, your friends (and others who have access to view you on social media) may know that you are an Ace Your Interview customer. If you do not want this information to be available, then please do not connect with Ace Your Interview on social media websites.

Client Reviews

Ace Your Interview encourages you to submit a review of your Ace Your Interview experience through the Ace Your Interview website and/or your LinkedIn profile. Ace Your Interview reserves the right to promote, reject, or remove your review without notice. By submitting a review on the Ace Your Interview website and/or your LinkedIn profile, you agree to the release of the information provided in your review (including your picture) to a public forum, and that visitors of the Ace Your Interview website may read your review. You also agree that Ace Your Interview may use your review (including your picture) without acknowledgement or payment to you for any purpose, including developing or marketing services, and improving the Ace Your Interview service.

Fan Photos

If you submit a fan photo to the Ace Your Interview website, you give Ace Your Interview the unlimited right and permission to use, distribute, and publish your photo, your name, and your city and state for purposes of advertising without compensation, notification, or permission. You agree that the Ace Your Interview service is not responsible for any unauthorized use of your photo by third parties.

Workshops

Ace Your Interview provides educational workshops. These workshops are not allowed to be audio or video recorded without permission from Ace Your Interview.

If Ace Your Interview is going to video record or photograph a workshop, prior notice will be given to workshop participants, and your permission will be obtained if you are in the video recording or photograph before Ace Your Interview uses it anywhere.

Ace Your Interview reserves the right to display and promote the video recorded or photographed workshops through the Ace Your Interview service, including the Ace Your Interview website and social media sites.

If you attend an Ace Your Interview workshop, you agree not to interfere with the workshop presenter or with anyone connected to the Ace Your Interview service, or use the Ace Your Interview service for any unlawful purpose. If your conduct is found to be interfering with the Ace Your Interview service, you will be removed from the Ace Your Interview workshop, and no refund will be provided.

During or after a workshop, there may be third-party services provided by the venue, such as food and drinks. Ace Your Interview is not responsible for and does not endorse the food, beverage, or service provided. Such services are owned or operated by third parties that are not related to Ace Your Interview. Ace Your Interview disclaims all liability arising from your use of third-party services.

Limitations on Liability

Ace Your Interview assumes no liability or responsibility for the following:
(a) errors or omissions in the content delivered by the Ace Your Interview service or on the Ace Your Interview website;
(b) any losses or damages arising from using materials provided at an Ace Your Interview workshop, on the Ace Your Interview website, or through the Ace Your Interview service;
(c) any losses or damages arising from attending an Ace Your Interview workshop;
(d) recommendations or advice provided by Victoria LoCascio; and
(e) third-party services.

Total liability from Ace Your Interview to a client shall not exceed the amount of money originally paid by the client for the Ace Your Interview service(s).

Disclaimers of Warranties

To the extent allowable by law, Ace Your Interview disclaims representations and warranties.

Intellectual Property

Ace Your Interview is a registered LLC. The Ace Your Interview logo and website are owed by Ace Your Interview LLC, and may not be used or reproduced without prior written approval from Ace Your Interview and may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not affiliated with Ace Your Interview.

Ace Your Interview materials are developed by Ace Your Interview. Please do not reproduce them.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without regard to conflict of laws provisions. If any provision(s) of these terms shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable, or in conflict with the law of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not in any way be affected, and shall remain in full force and effect.

Arbitration Agreement

You and Ace Your Interview agree that any dispute or claim relating to the Ace Your Interview service will be determined by binding arbitration instead of in courts of general jurisdiction (except for small claims court). Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court, and uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury. Arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you agree that the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision, and that you and Ace Your Interview are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.

Changes to Terms of Use

Ace Your Interview reserves the right to change these Terms of Use. The most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede previous versions.
